This was perhaps inevitable. Shortly, after increasing the price of its HTC One A9 from the initial, promotional price of $399 to $499, HTC is once again offering the phone with a $100 discount.
As part of a store-wide sale at HTC.com, noticed by The Verge, the company offers a 15% discount on $200 purchases, a 20% discount on $400 purchases, and a 30% discount if you spend more than $650. Since the HTC One A9 officially costs $499, you can actually get it for exactly one hundred dollars less.
The savings scheme allows for some interesting combinations. For example, if you’re also interested in a Nexus 9 tablet as well, you can grab both for $629.
The deal is valid for U.S. customers only, and only today, Nov. 10 (it ends at 11:59pm PT) or while supplies last.
Though this is just another promotion — and a short one at that — we expect to see similar discounts on the device from HTC in the future. With its snazzy, Apple-like look, a 5-inch screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 13-megapixel camera, it’s an attractive device, but much more so at $400 than $500.
