The ham was purchased from an Aldi store in West Yorkshire by Della Farzad, according to Metro.
“I checked the label because I don’t eat meat, and I wondered how much was in it,” she said. “When I saw it I burst out laughing, even though I was on my own.”
And the explanation behind the mistake? It all comes down to one simple character.
According to a statement given by an Aldi UK spokesperson to the Metro, the numbers on the packet are actually right — but the percentage sign should be replaced with grams.
