Human Traffic Cones Block Road in London on Halloween
Police were called out to an unusual disturbance in the small hours of the morning on Sunday in Kingston, southwest London, after a group of Halloween revellers dressed as traffic cones lined up in the street blocking traffic.
The human cones held up cars and buses at around 4 a.m., but it was a tweet from Kingston Police later that morning that alerted the wider world to the incident. A screen grab from the emergency response team’s computers left no doubt as to the nature of the affair.
“Males dressed as traffic cones, blocking the road like traffic cones,” it read.

One witness saw the men in Clarence Street at 4.40 a.m., the Evening Standard reports.
Dan Theochari said that “they were just standing in front of the taxi and the bus not letting them get past and taking pictures of themselves. I didn’t actually see the police I was waiting for a taxi but I saw it and it made me laugh.”
