Happy Halloween Gamers, Batman: Arkham Knight Finally Arrives for PC

Batman: Arkham Knight‘s aborted PC launch is finally ready to roll, with the game unlocking on Steam at 1 p.m. ET on Oct. 28. That’s just over four months since the game first came to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 23.

Arkham Knight spent a brief amount of time as a live release for Windows machines before publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment realized how broken it was and pulled its availability. Even on high-end computers, the game couldn’t maintain a steady frame rate or deliver a stable experience.

That’s all been fixed, or it will be when the re-release goes live on Oct. 28. It’ll also be joined by a patch that brings full support to the game for all the add-on Arkham Knight content that’s been released so far for the console versions. Just note: You still have to buy most of that stuff, either a la carte or through a Season Pass. There’s no “make-good” promotion here; simply confirmation that the PC release supports the same content that the console releases do.

You can see the full listing of supported add-ons in WB’s latest update no the Steam Community website. Look for the game on Steam later this week.
